Savoring your free time is essential, and you certainly won’t get bored at El Añadío, which offers an array of possible leisure activities for your enjoyment. Each guest will be able to find the perfect balance of fun and rest catered to their own needs and desires.
During your stay you can also enjoy the livestock, accompanied by our staff, and the pleasures that come with the more rugged aspects of country life with its cows, stallions, calves, bulls, steers, halters, and horses. The necessary security measures have been taken to ensure that, given guests use good judgement and follow our recommendations, no risks are involved.
Get to know all parts of this wonderful ecosystem from the native plants to its animal species. The surrounding nature (beyond the cattle enclosures) are perfect for walks through the oak tree forests or to the nearby lakes where you have the choice of fishing, sailing, or canoeing.
With the Bulls
Experience the authentic day-to-day of a Spanish fighting bull ranch. Be a cowboy for a day!
Talk with the cattle farmers about the breeding of the bravo bull as well as the history of this breed, its handling, and other concepts.
Outdoors excursions in 4X4 with the livestock staff (ranchers, breeders, cattle herders), check all of the fences and feed the animals, watch all of the livestock operations taking place that day (bull calf tagging, bull running with horses and dogs, separating cattle into corrals, medical treatment, professional bullfighter performances, traditional horseshoeing, etc.).
These activities are suitable for children who, simply for safety reasons, should always be accompanied by an adult.

Taught by professionals, with dinner and lunches/colloquiums, Encierro and the bulls to be fought, theoretical classes in bullfighting with Muleta and Capote and, finally, a practical session with REAL bullfighting with calves (virgins), ending with the presentation of Diplomas.

Tour the estate on an easy and relaxing horse ride. Take in the full breadth of the dehesa’s natural beauty from its animals to its wide open landscapes, accompanied by one of our expert riders.
Group rides that last an hour and a half or individual rides (depending on availability).
We are also able to organize longer rides in the countryside with a lunch in the sunshine or dinner under the full moon, depending on the time of year.
One and a half hour rides in small groups, or if you prefer, exclusive rides for individual clients (depending on availability).
El Añadío is a private preserve, you can practice small game hunting, rabbits, partridges or in a place to thrushes, torcaces…etc.
Always complying with the regulations in force in the area (licences, closed seasons…etc).
Pets are allowed up to a maximum weight of 20Kg, and one pet per room.
If you bring a dog, please make sure it does not cause any damage. It will not be allowed in the restaurant. In the rooms, it must sleep in its own bed. Outdoors, please keep your dog on a leash and make sure it does not disturb other people or animals, especially wild cattle, which could cause unwanted risks.
A small charge will be applied for this concept.
El Añadío is a private hunting ground so you can hunt small game, even with a dog, like rabbits, partridges, thrush (from a hunting stand), doves, etc.
At your request, we can organize a private, intimate flamenco evening. If you feel like dancing, too, we can provide upbeat live music or, if you’d prefer, a classical music session for after dinner.
